Balanced Equine - MSM (2kg)

MSM, methylsulfonylmethane (CH₃)₂SO₂, is an organic sulfur compound that naturally occurs in the sulfur cycle. MSM has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It is used widely as a dietary supplement for treating arthritis in people.

MSM is derived from DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide, a topical gel or liquid that is used in horses to reduce swelling from trauma), and it appears naturally in small amounts in the bloodstream as well as in milk, vegetables, fruits, and grains.

Feeding Rate

Per day:

High rate for 500 kg horse – 30 g per (6 g per 100 kg)

Standard rate for 500 kg horse 20 g per (4 g per 100 kg)

Mix with feed. Ideally divide amount between meals if feeding more than once per day.
